Hey there, I’m Fernanda Dubiel, a West Coast Swing dancer and teacher originally from Brazil (with a bit of Polish heritage 🧬). I fell in love with dance at the age of 6—starting with ballet and quickly exploring styles like tango, zouk, samba, bachata, and salsa. But it was West Coast Swing that stole my heart when I was just 9, and the rest, as they say, is history.

At 16, I moved to Lyon, France to dive deeper into WCS and soak in French culture. Since then, I’ve called Poland home, while traveling the world teaching, coaching, judging, and competing in my favorite dance style. I’ve been in the Champion division since 2024—after advancing through All-Star in just 18 months 💪

Every event I attend—whether in the US, Europe, Asia, or elsewhere—feels like a celebration of connection, musicality, and shared joy. Dance, for me, is a powerful force that brings people together, breaks boundaries, and creates smiles worldwide .

On the floor, I’m known for my expressive style, creativity, and a positive, down-to-earth vibe. I thrive on social dancing and love how WCS creates instant connections across cultures and backgrounds .
